It's the Class of 1960's 50th reunion and it will be held at the Diamondhead Resort on Fort Myers Beach. I'm checking in on Friday afternoon and plan on sitting in the pool area and signing books for my fellow classmates as long as the books last. I'll also be at the Friday breakfast followed by a tour at Fort Myers HIghs School. Can't wait.
Youi can spot me easily - I'll be wearing a Fort Myers football team jersey number 33 that I wore proudly for four short years. Please tap me on the shoulder, introduce yourself and let's chat.

The Lake County Library System's "Festival of Reading" at the Cooper Library in Clermont runs from March 17 through the 20th.
There will be an 'Authors' Roundtable' on Wednesday, March 17th in the new Cooper Library. Books will be available for sale. I'll be there!

In the afternoon we'll talk about agents, query letters, proper manuscript format, editing, and even self-publishing.

I am returning to Corry, Pennsylvania, the city of my birth and have been honored to speak at the public library. Some of my First Grade classmates may show up. I moved away to the Panama Canl Zone in 1953, but most of my first grade classmates remained in town.
My family migrated to Corry, PA from Ireland, via a 15-year stay in Toronto, Canada, in 1868. I am going home to visit with a great aunt who is residing in a local assisted living facility. She is going to share some family history and lore (maybe even some scandals which my famiy was known for) with me for inclusion in the written family history that I am developing.
I you are close to Corry come out to the library and let's visit!
